Engine Simulation

TESIS DYNAware offers highly precise real-time capable software for engine simulation on HiL systems. Engine simulation (enDYNA, DYNA4 Engine Themos) is effectively used by our customers for function development and efficient ECU tests on HiL systems. Engine simulation has a diverse range of applications – for example for engines in harvesters, highly efficient 3-cylinder engines or 12-cylinder engines in commercial vehicles. Our knowledge of real-time capable physical engine simulations allows the application on HiL systems for testing state-of-the-art ECUs (e.g. downsizing concepts, supercharged internal combustion engines and diesel engines). The flexibility of engine simulation allows the configuration of various engines on different HiL systems. Preprocessing is performed by using standard test results, which simplifies the required parameterization for the engine simulation.
