DYNA4 Simulation Framework enables virtual test drives with MBS models

DYNA4 Simulation Framework virtual test drives MBS models

TESIS DYNAware and SIMPACK AG signed a cooperation agreement. This cooperation will make it possible in the future to seamlessly integrate SIMPACK multi-body simulation (MBS) models into TESIS DYNAware’s DYNA4 open and modular simulation framework. In DYNA4, SIMPACK models can be combined with TESIS DYNAware vehicle components to form a virtual test vehicle. In combination with road models, maneuver control and surrounding traffic, this provides an extremely flexible model environment for ECU testing.

In addition, DYNA4 offers process-supporting tools, such as clear model and project administration, evaluations, illustrative animations and connection to automated tests. DYNA4 therefore provides the optimum framework for the efficient implementation of SIMPACK models in the function development of ECUs from the PC right through to HiL.
